Charles JournetSave your hours of prayer. They are sacred. It is not necessary to steal them from God in order to give them to his creatures – at least as long as he does not expressly ask this. These hours will be indispensable nourishment, giving savour to everything you do.

      It is not necessary, unless an immediate and direct need arises for justice, to leave off prayer. Giving to created beings does not require us to spend less time with God in prayer, unless the need arises clearly. In fact, times of prayer will enrich what we give to others.

      Something like this.
