Read history and you will see that, among all the fantastic stories and capricious inventions of time, we have never imagined a God so taken with love as our God, the true, is for us. A God who, to testify to his love for his adorers and to lavish on them the treasures of his grace, accomplished the wonder of love of hiding himself in a host and staying there, night and day, on the altar, their perpetual companion, as if he could not, not even for a moment, separate himself from them.
