No Sun, No Moonlight, Only One Consolation

Van

There will surely be days when you feel the void in your soul, when you know what it is to be abandoned, when you know aridity, like a flower deprived of the rays of the sun, and which lacks even moonlight; and you will be rocked by the north wind that dries up your heart… I had only tears to translate the sadness of my soul, and often those tears failed me, too. I had but one consolation: to accept all of good heart, by love.
