Two years old! Two years of blog posts. I think I’ve learned a lot, and I hope any readers have, too.
Maybe this goes without saying to more experienced bloggers, but for me, this is my first blog:
I find the process of choosing tags to be fascinating. Sometimes I’m not even sure where the inspiration to choose a tag comes from. Certainly, names of authors and saints are obvious choices. Certainly, if something is clearly about my neighbours, tagging Neighbours is an obvious choice. But sometimes it’s not obvious. Sometimes I think, someone looking for posts about Neighbours will want to see this also; it’s true; but why I think of it, I’m not sure. It’s not directly and obviously mentioned, but it’s in there somewhere…
To an extent, I think this is just a thing about blogging.
But on top of that, maybe this is something particular to a blog contemplation. After all, contemplation simplifies things. Things tends to converge and become less complicated. Maybe that’s why I often want to tag so many thoughts on one post? They are all, really, related…?
