Direction, Providence, Transformation

Under, twice, for first the sea
Pushes deep and plummets me
Into the dark

Second, waves crash in the day
Turn and fall, they smash and sway
And yet it’s far

Above, far; this bark does float
Grab it tight, for straight it goes
Into the waves

Under waves, but ‘top the sea
This dear bark is dragging me
To where it’s safe

Crest the waves; churn ‘top the sea
From the bark shoots straight, grows; be
A mast and sail

Now, though waves and sea do plot
Evermore to take me, not
One plan won’t fail
