One thing that I really like about having this blog is that the topic is limitless.
- Do I want to post about friends or neighbours? OK.
- Do I want to post about prayer? OK.
- Do I want to post about living prayer in a particular situation? OK.
- Do I want to post about the saints? OK.
- Do I want to post about integrating different things in life? OK.
- Do I want to post about the Church? OK.
- Do I want to post about contemplation? OK.
- Do I want to post about action? OK, because contemplation should overflow into action; indeed, without contemplation our wheels barely turn.
I can post about pretty much anything, as long as I try, despite my failures and deficiencies, to look high enough.
Contemplation is limitless, because the agent, the author, and the mirror that we look at is God. In fact, contemplation is the love of God! God’s love is, in a beautiful phrase of Little Brother Marcel Văn, “always limitless and always without limits”.
