Jesus instituted the Eucharistic mission in which the Sacrament with its divine reality, concealed under humble species, and the way in which the faithful treat and use it constitute a sign together. A young Muslim man who often accompanied one of his Christian friends to church said to him one day, “Looking at these people, no one would suspect that they really believe in a divine presence in the bread they are about to receive.”
