“The kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and it is those who make an effort that obtain it” (Mt 11:12). Thus, if you want to possess Jesus, you don’t need to use corporal force; it’s enough to mortify yourself in little things, according to your own abilities, and, by that, you will possess the eternal kingdom of Jesus… For example: Papa asks you to go boil water, but you don’t want to. Make an effort to go and joyfully boil the water (without murmuring); then offer this sacrifice to Jesus.
