No one can undertake everything… Saint Teresa and Brother Charles of Jesus felt this so strongly that they tried to satisfy their boundless ambition that was for ever widening in the field of their apostolic desires, by turning to another realm than that of their human condition…
So absolute a desire for boundless action in time and space is the sign of a contemplative vocation, and it can be fulfilled only through co-operation with the activity of God himself.
