Marie-Joseph Le Guillou OPNote to what extent the body participates in transfiguration. This all evokes the great devotion that all [Christian] Antiquity had for Saint Stephen (cf. Acts 6, 7). The opened heavens brings us to the structure of Roman basilicas, particularly the apse… The altar is constructed on the martyrium… We are in the place of Saint Stephen… Voilà what a church is!
