Palm

We bring out the palms and adore him.
We go through a week remembering his suffering.
We learn and go our ways.
We take the palms and burn them.
Ashes.
“Turn away from sin and be faithful to the Gospel.”
Don’t get caught in the trappings of joy in power and personalities.
God, alienate us from ourselves and give us wholly to you.
